Marina Bay Sands
Three pillars parting the horizons
A boat perched atop precarious
No emblem of vanity
But a declaration of man's conquest
over the mother nature
A boat floating in space,
concrete piercing the skies
The trees feeling out of place
far from their roots in the soil
that once were
the only home known to human dreams
Trying to know themselves
by being far from the soil
A vain attempt, not at vanity
or at conquest
But at defeating the nature that is
waiting to be unveiled
closer home
A boat that will take one past the only curse,
the ignorance of one's true nature
Needs no concrete or steel to pierce the infinite
Nor skyscrapers to rival fears
But striving sincere and patient
