I'm building a castle
Fields are the names I was given at birth
Baileys spacious of relations I was to be
Turrets I have raised of education and accolades
And drawbridge of faith sees me over to
the World on the other side
Moats of fear are teeming to the brim always
Crocs of insecurity circling within
Barbican of money ensures my safety
Within the walls of my poverty
And the portuculis of religion is ready to snap over
Anyone daring to wake me out of my sleep
I have thus arrived in life
Having en-castled myself
In the world of my making
Some envious eyes may see it though
As the tomb I aspired to be in
