Centuries of refining,
years of precision
Millennia of work,
patient evolution
I simply pick up,
buy in bulk
A cauliflower, an onion,
a cucumber
Sunset, sunrise
clockwork precise,
Too much beauty for the world
packed in too few moments
I couldn't afford one shade
and yet I miss
most of them
lying in my bed
Nameless fragrances,
peerless shapes,
sheer cheer spreading
petal to stem
A flower smiling
lighting up my way
for no reason,
motive or price
As I pass it by,
unnoticed,
lost in my head
or worse
in my phone
worth more
than all the world
put together
