Scaling the skies
Coying (with) the clouds
Fly as high as you may
Oh, living kite,
the dream of my kind
Roost you'd have to though
back on the boughs
rooted deep
in the bosom of earth
The view unlike any
The colossal turning puny
and the mightiest a mere dot among many
Far from the identities discerning
that keep us distant and divided
in the nave of the same planet/soil
Crossing the oceans
brine spread out shapeless
Unbothered by borders
or the nautical dominion
Racing past the races
that continue to cleave
the beast most sapient
Calling you bird-brained
is our way of envying
thy freedom
