Red, yellow, purple

wearing a smile cheerful

Some turned seeing

a stranger walk by them

Oblivious of my intent

until I began plucking them

off their beds

to take home

away from theirs

to never return

Flowers,

happy as

a smile frozen in reason

or love forced
